The first accredited faculty of the Ecological University provides its students a solid education in law field.
After completion of studies and obtaining the Bachelor’s degree the students may practice as judges, prosecutors, lawyers, notaries, legal advisers, court executors, civil servants, but they may also hold positions in diplomacy, research, in political activity, teaching and other areas in which the contribution of the jurist is necessary. At the same time, according to the general profile of the university and the modern requirement of the specialization, the future graduates have the opportunity of a complementary training in environmental law field.
The curriculum, designed to achieve these objectives, includes juridical classical disciplines: constitutional law, administrative law, civil law, criminal law, labour law, commercial law, public international law and others, which were added new disciplines as: competition law, banking law and currency law, insurance law, community law, protection of human rights etc.
The ecological dimension is provided through courses of: ecology and ecologism, environmental law, agricultural law, urban law, international community law of the environment.
Through study of the optional and facultative disciplines (Latin, philosophy, history of universal culture and others) the juridical formation is becoming complete implementing a wide horizon of education, particularly necessary in the law field.
The curriculum includes packages of optional disciplines in 4-7 semesters, which offers to the future graduate the possibility of thoroughgoing study of a particular domain of activity, namely: public administration, business law, information and private security law.
The didactic staff is composed of prestigious specialists in the juridical field, with a vast theoretical and practical experience, respectively university teachers, scientists, renowned magistrates. All disciplines are covered by printed courses and / or support classes, the students benefiting also of the specialized library.
The students’ tasks registered within the part-time education or distance education are identical with those of the students registered at daily courses. The difference of hours is compensated through individual study.
The PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION specialization, aims at training civil servants from the central and local public administration. The purpose of the Faculty of Public Administration is to ensure the preparation of staff categories engaged in various institutions of public administration.
The pursued objectives in developing the educational process take into account the preparation of future civil servants, specialists which must respond to acquiring and correct application of new legislation and to correspond to the extending of the responsibilities as a result of decentralization of competencies in public administration field.
The programs of Faculty of Law and Public Administration are designed in the spirit of the Bologna Process. These programs aim to create general and professional competencies for each specialization. The purpose of the specialization of Faculty of Public Administration is to ensure, on the labour market, specialists who have professional skills in public administration field, according to the Statute of Civil Servants.
